Duane L. "Dewey" Graff was born July 9th, 1952, a birth date that he shares with John Hartman, Founder and CEO of OceanGrown Inc. Dewey was raised in the small southeastern Minnesota town of Austin, surrounded by acres of corn, which is part of America’s Corn Belt.

Upon graduation from Austin High School, where he was a member of the National Honor Society, Dewey accepted a full Navy ROTC Scholarship at the University of Minnesota. After two years of chemical engineering under his belt, Dewey decided to pursue his entrepreneurial interests and transferred over to Carlton School of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business degree specializing in Marketing and Organizational Development. Dewey is active in local and national charity organizations, donating numerous works of Fine Art to charity auctions, especially those assisting youth and education.

A natural people person, Dewey has employed his excellent organizational skills in various businesses, including ownership of a popular college bar and restaurant. One of Dewey's passions has always been artwork and he soon developed that love into a fully-fledged art brokerage firm and gallery, Dewey Graff Fine Art, Inc.

22 years of happy success in the art business led Dewey to stumble upon the OceanGrown products. Being a believer in good health, exercise and a pure and natural diet, Dewey was naturally drawn to the potential that OceanGrown products offered to help change the Nutritional Value of today’s food, relieve the Issues of Toxic Runoff and Hypoxia that plague the world water systems and help re-mineralize the soil that is our most precious resource, used to grow the food that we eat. Dewey believes that he can accomplish these lofty goals through OceanGrown Distribution (OGD), and a close relationship with OceanGrown Inc. Dewey brings over 30 plus years of solid marketing and sales experience to OceanGrown Distribution, along with his unique and special ability to cultivate long term relationships, while always delivering beyond stellar service. Dewey, through OGD, was instrumental in facilitating several major university trials of OceanSolution products on corn, rice, soybeans and other agricultural crops. Dewey through OGD, was also instrumental in facilitating OceanSolution product trials with several large Ag companies. All trials produced significant results with higher yields and more healthy, nutritious crops.
